CLM’s Founder, Clive Miles, proudly hands over the ASFP Chair title to Sharon McClure

CLM’s Founder and Chair, Clive Miles, handed over the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) Chair title to Sharon McClure at the ASFP’s annual AGM and London Seminar.

Commenting on the role handover on his LinkedIn update, Clive quoted:

“After an incredibly rewarding tenure as Chair of the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), I’m proud to officially hand over the role to Sharon McClure. It has been a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated professionals who are all working toward the common goal of improving fire safety across the UK and beyond.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed first-hand the progress the ASFP has made in raising awareness, setting standards, and supporting our members through an evolving regulatory landscape. I would like to thank the council, our members, the wider industry and especially the ASFP team for their unwavering commitment, collaboration, support, and shared passion that has made this work both impactful and fulfilling.

Sharon brings exceptional experience, leadership, and commitment to the role. I have no doubt she will continue to build on the momentum we’ve created and guide the ASFP into its next chapter with confidence and vision.
