1 Exchange Square

CLM was instructed by Multiplex to carry out intumescent paint works at 1 Exchange Square, a state-of-the-art 447,000 sq ft office development at Broadgate Campus in the City of London.

The 13-story development will include 430,000 square feet of high-quality office space and 17,000 square feet dedicated to retail, with frontages along Bishopsgate and the newly redesigned Exchange Square park. The building offers 13 upper levels, with average floorplates of 40,000 square feet, and landscaped terraces on each floor, totalling 33,000 square feet. It will also feature an impressive main reception area and an 8,000-square-foot amenity lounge. Situated just a one-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, the location is surrounded by lively areas such as Broadgate Campus, Spitalfields, Shoreditch, and the City of London.

 

CLM is providing onsite application to existing steelwork including surface blasting, preparation of internal and external steelwork, priming, intumescent coating and top coating. Application products include:

  • Sherwin Williams FX1003 + FX6010 solvent based intumescent paint to enabling steelwork
  • Sherwin Williams M71V2 topcoat to internal new steelwork & Acrolon 7300 to exposed new steel columns

CLM have also been instructed to install the basebuild firestopping and our Consultancy Team are involved at design stage providing clash detection and manufacturer/detail selection using our BIM Plugin.

 

1 Exchange Square aims to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating, NABERS 5* and Well Platinum scores.
