The Home Group needed a strategic partner who could offer a consistently high standard of passive fire protection services across their wide portfolio of properties. With our experience in market-leading passive fire protection packages for housing associations, CLM Fireproofing were the ideal candidate.
Our work was spread across various key services. Upon receipt of an independently conducted Fire Risk Assessment, we carried out fire door and compartmentation surveys to identify examples of non-compliance with fire protection regulations. We then took ownership of all remediation and fireproofing works across The Home Group properties, demonstrating our expertise in fire protection compliance.
We are dedicated to sharing knowledge of fire protection best practice amongst our housing clients. This goes beyond installations and inspections and includes technical support and guidance, project management and continued professional development (CPD) sessions.
CLM’s recording platform (BORIS) has provided Home Group with a documented platform for the lifetime of each install throughout a magnitude of projects. The BORIS system offers full transparency, a clear audit trail and a live manual that can be followed both during and after construction has finished.
