With a diverse mix of residential buildings and supported living environments, the organisation required a strategic fire protection partner capable of delivering consistent, compliant works across a large and varied property portfolio.

Fire Door & Compartmentation Surveys
Following independently conducted Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), CLM carried out detailed surveys across multiple properties to identify:
- Fire door defects and non-compliant installations
- Breaches in compartment walls, floors and service risers
- Issues arising from historical works or uncontrolled service penetrations
- Gaps, damaged seals and compromised structural elements
These surveys formed the basis for prioritised remedial programmes.
Remediation & Passive Fire Protection Works
CLM delivered a wide range of compliant fire protection works across occupied and unoccupied properties, including:
- Repair and replacement of fire doors and components
- Installation of penetration seals and cavity barriers
- Restoration of compromised compartment lines
- Remediation of non-compliant legacy works
All works adhered to the relevant standards and manufacturer test data.
Technical Support & Client Guidance
Beyond surveys and installations, CLM supported Home Group with:
- Technical clarification and best-practice advice
- Project and programme management across multiple properties
- Knowledge-sharing through CPD and client training sessions
- Ongoing support in interpreting FRA findings and regulatory requirements

Digital Compliance & Recording (BORIS)
CLM deployed its digital reporting platform BORIS to provide Home Group with:
- A complete audit trail of installations
- Photo evidence and material traceability
- As-built documentation for each asset
- A live record that supports future inspections and regulatory compliance
This platform ensures long-term transparency and lifecycle management across all completed works.

Commercial Construction
1 Exchange Square
Intumescent coatings, firestopping and BIM consultancy for a 447,000 sq ft Grade A redevelopment at Broadgate. CLM delivered surface preparation, priming, intumescent protection and topcoating across steelwork, supported by digital clash detection and compliant detail selection. Targeting BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5*.
Commercial ConstructionPeterborough Court
Cementitious coatings, cavity barriers and firestopping for a 292,000 sq ft Grade A redevelopment at 133 Fleet Street. CLM delivered Monokote MK6-HY application, PROMAT repairs and compartmentation works with integrated pre-construction and product selection support.
HealthcareOak Cancer Centre
Firestopping, cavity barriers and Promat structural protection for a new healthcare and research facility in Sutton. CLM installed certified systems from FSi, Protecta, Firefly and Promat to deliver full passive fire protection across clinical, research and outpatient areas.
Commercial Construction40 Leadenhall Street
Firestopping and compartmentation for a 900,000 sq ft, 34-storey mixed-use tower in the City of London. CLM is delivering tested firestopping systems across tower and basement levels, coordinating closely with trades to maintain compliant compartmentation on a complex, high-density project.
