Peterborough Court

Project Overview
Peterborough Court, located at 133 Fleet Street, is the former European headquarters of Goldman Sachs and is being transformed into 292,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace and ground-floor retail.

The 11-storey redevelopment includes private terraces and a new public courtyard, creating a contemporary workplace within a landmark City of London building.

Mace appointed CLM to deliver fire protection works as part of one of their largest London interior refurbishment schemes in the past decade.

of
Works.

Cementitious Fire Protection

CLM applied Monokote MK6-HY cementitious coating to structural steel using meter-spray techniques, providing fire resistance across primary steel elements.

Works began with:

  • Patch repairs using PROMAT CP2 on damaged beams
  • Application of coating in areas with restricted access and complex geometry
  • Ensuring consistent thickness and adhesion across new and existing steel
Firestopping & Compartmentation Works

In addition to steel protection, CLM delivered a package of passive fire protection installations, including:

All works were carried out in alignment with the project’s fire strategy and tested manufacturer details.

Technical Coordination & Product Selection

Given the challenges of integrating fire protection into an existing building structure, CLM adopted a collaborative pre-construction approach. Our technology, design and delivery teams:

  • Assessed existing building conditions
  • Supported product selection based on performance and compatibility
  • Provided clear, compliant guidance to the client and design team
  • Ensured new systems interfaced seamlessly with the retained fabric

This coordinated methodology allowed the team to resolve legacy issues and incorporate new systems without disruption to the project programme.
